It is no secret. The three simple steps for an amazing day of singletrack riding.
Meet for a coffee. Get to know each other. Talk trails. Head out.
Ride the bike. Be challenged. Take pictures. Enjoy the tails.
Cool down. Cheers. Talk about a great day. Plan to ride more.
10:30 am: We meet at the best coffee place in town. After an introduction I will give you a short preview on what to expect. When I plan the days route, I always try to avoid tarmac and fire roads, because hey, that’s not what you’re looking for, right?! Depending on the group level, we have the option to choose from different trail networks. Each has its own charm and challenges.
11:00 am: We will drive out to the trail head which we reach within minutes on paved roads (you need your own vehicle to get there, limited space available in my truck).
11:15 am: In case you booked a rental bike we do a quick stop at our partner bike shop in town to pick up your bike for the day.
11:30 am: Once we have our gear and the bikes ready, we dive into a day packed with incredible singletrack riding. We will spend approximately 4-5 hrs shredding the trails with a few stops here and there to take pictures and to refuel.
3:30 pm: After the ride we head back downtown Harbour City Nanaimo to cool down at one of the islands best micro breweries. Is there anything better than a refreshing post-ride beer?! First one’s on me!
